Is there any chance of iPad versions of these apps? West Coast style synths are much needed on iOS . Touch playing surfaces are a great fit for these synths. You have a lot of fans that would consider these insta-buys .
Thanks for the thoughts! The Respiro approach you describe is interesting.
Right now I'm working mostly to finish Sumu—meanwhile the world of pricing and distribution is always changing and there's a little part of my brain where I collect this kind of info and try not to overthink it.
Hello! Just wondering if there's any news about this? No stress :)
Nope. Still working on Sumu. Thanks for your interest.
Having aalto on iOS would be incredibly amazing! I would pay whatever it takes!
I get this a lot! Thanks for the encouragement.
Hi Randy! Adding another message here in favor of Aalto for iOS. Long time Aalto user here, with a deep rxship with the synth. I've moved away from laptops in live performance (affordability among other reasons) but I do use an ipad. At times, I've carried and set up my desktop computer solely to perform with Aalto in a live setting. There's nothing else like it. Would be life changing to have it on ipad. Cheers to all your amazing instruments!
Hi @marsdietz thanks for your kind note. I hear your compelling use case for an iOS version. I'm not working on iOS versions just yet, but I'm working on things that we would need to get in place before that effort. in other words you'll see Aalto 2.0 before too long, and shortly after that it could be possible to have an iOS version. I'll probably telegraph my intent before that and solicit some beta testing. Please stay tuned!
