i could be wrong, but it seems like in 1.3, switching to alternate keys doesn't actually change the tuning. Anyone else?

I'm trying them all--unless I'm doing something really stupid, but I don't think so. All of my patches saved in 1.2 were set to various Arabic keys and those patches also sound different and I can't get them to change key either. I've tried with quantize on and off as well. I'm using the built-in sequencer, and I'll run a sequence that just steps up the scale and can't hear any difference when I switch keys.
sorry. on Mac OS 10.8.2. multiple hosts--i've tried Reaper, Logic, and Numerology. switching keys does not seem to change the tuning.
I recommended Aalto to a buddy the other night and then got inspired to go home and mess around with it myself. I started Logic, created an instance of Aalto, and then loaded a preset and got a terrible digital feedback loop (or something that resembles that). i got rid of the instance of Aalto, started up another one, and all was ok. I've never seen this bug before. My buddy emailed the next day and told me on his own time he downloaded the demo and had the exact same issue. He was also using Logic as his host. Any thoughts? Sorry if this has been brought up before in the forum, but I wasn't able to find any posting on it.
I'm using Aalto 1.2.6, Logic 9.1.7 (32-bit), Mac OS 10.8.1 on a Macbook Pro 2001. My buddy was running Mac OS 10.6.8.
