I just upgraded Aalto to the latest version and seemed to have inadvertently blown away my personal presets. Can that be? I suppose it can. Oops. Strangely they reappear in certain circumstances with Ableton.
Did you go from 1.5 to 1.6 or higher? The preset format changed with that release. Choose "convert presets" from the main menu to get all your presets moved to the new format.
