My name contains umlauts and they show up quite weird in Aalto. Instead of the o with dots I get another character and lots of spaces. Does not affect sound in any way but looks peculiar.

It is still cosmetic and it is still there. One way to make me go away would be to change my umlauts to "oe" - as in my username.
Would it be possible to have my copy watermarked with my name with "oe":s instead? I am quite used to that way of writing my name. As a matter of fact, when I lived in the US, I changed my name accordingly. Saved me a wagon load of grief… :-)
Unfortunately fixing this turned out to be a bigger task than I thought. I am moving to a different registration scheme soon, and at that time everything will be set up for Unicode. Thanks for your patience.
Meanwhile you can edit the appearance of your name in the plugin yourself. Just go to your account settings on the site and edit your name, then download and install your software again.
