Delete key doesn't work

I guess this bug has been spotted already by someone else. In Aalto Vst(32bit) loaded in Ableton Live 8.2.5, under Windows 7. The manual says that patch cords can be deleted by selecting the patch and hitting the delete key, but this method doesn't seem to work here.

Sadly there are many differences in how the various hosts handle keyboard keys, making it very difficult for me to engineer a consistent user experience across hosts. Sometimes the host captures a certain key and doesn't pass it to plugins. I think this is what is happening here.

Thanks for the report.

That's sad... the delete key was a quick and natural way to delete patch cords- BTW - I think I spotted another bug, will report soon about it.

hey marco, you might want to try out Live's 'options.txt' workaround:

http://www.ableton.com/pages/faq/options_text

scroll down to see this...

"EnsureKeyMessagesForPlugins"

This option solves a problem with certain VST Plugins (such as NI's Reaktor), where keyboard data does not reach the plugin.

Supported since: 7.0.2b3

Note: PC ONLY!

Example: -_EnsureKeyMessagesForPlugins

Thank you! I had totally forgotten about options.txt...this should solve the issue
